Scenario 3: system should create the pick HU automatically.

Introduction: In some of the warehouses, picking happen in  Boxes/cartons. So, while going for picking , Pick HU needs to create automatically by system and print. So that picker can paste the label on Box and close this as Destination HU once WO items are picked.

So, we will discuss about Auto Pick HU creation through WOCR configs.

 

Configurations:

Part A:  WOCR SET UP.

  • Define number ranges for the WO.

  • Assign number ranges to warehouse.



  • Define sort rules for warehouse task.

  • Define Sort Fields.

  • Define filters for warehouse order creation rules.

  • Define limit values for the size of the wo.

  • Define packaging profile for warehouse order creation.

  • Define creation rule for wo.

  • Define search sequence for WOCR.


PART B:

  • Removal strategies-

  • Define SRCI

  • Define STSS

  • Assign storage type to STSS

  • Determine STSS for Stock Removal

  • Assign WOCR to main WPT.


PART C:

Packaging Specifications Configuration:

  • Define packaging group.

  • Define number rangers for packaging specification.

  • Define level type.

  • Define element type.

  • Define level set.

  • Define packaging material type.

  • Define work step type.

  • Assign packaging material type to element type.

  • Assign packaging material type to work step type.


Part 😧 Easy Access & master data

  • Maintain element group.

  • Work step overview.

  • Element group overview.

  • Create Packing Specification .

  • Create a bin- for automatic packing.

  • Additional attributes for the activity area

  • Define warehouse process type-to assign to resource.


Part E: Testing:

  1. Create sale order.

  2. Create outbound delivery.

  3. Create Picking task.

  4. Execute WO in RFUI

Created WR03 with filter type - warehouse task.

4)   Define limit values for the size of the wo.

PATH: - SPRO- IMG - SCM EWM- EWM- CROSS PROCESS SETTINGS- WO- DEFINE LIMIT VALUES FOR THE SIZE OF THE WO.

Just limiting the size of the warehouse order with 10 items.

So that system will consider this value as limit of WTs in the WO.

5) Define packaging profile for warehouse order creation.

PATH: - SPRO - IMG – SCM EWM – EWM – Cross process settings – WO – DEFINE PACKING PROFILE FOR WAREHOUSE ORDER CREATION.

select create HU and As WTs to HUs tick box to create the Auto Pick HU.

6)   Define creation rule for WO.

PATH: - SPRO- IMG - SCM EWM- EWM- CROSS PROCESS SETTINGS- WO- DEFINES CREATION RULE FOR WO.

7)   Define search sequence for WOCR

8) Removal Strategies-

8.1) Define Stock Removal Control Indicator.

8.2) Specify Storage Type Search Sequence.

WO 2012 created, and system determined the WOCR- WR03.

Now we will try to process this WO in RFUI and see weather Pick HU created automatically or not.
