Bitkom President Achim Berg, referring to the association's latest study, emphasizes that the shortage of skilled workers "could become the main obstacle to digital transformation" and thus underscores the relevance of continuing professional development. Without continuous education and re-skilling, there will not be enough IT specialists to successfully tackle SAP projects. It is therefore essential not to lose touch when it comes to training.
To ensure that this succeeds and that SAP training in 2023 can be well planned, we offer here an overview of SAP's training formats, including important updates for 2023.
The free online learning platform is constantly being expanded: English learning contents are now available on learning.sap.com not only for developers, but also for students and in some cases SAP consultants. These units range from courses to practice-oriented training and microlearning videos.
Enclosed are some of the 36 currently free SAP Learning Journeys, with more to come throughout 2023!
Learning content from the SAP training catalog is often consumed as instructor-led training. For this purpose, the range of hybrid courses has been further expanded: Learner’s Choice exists for many courses: participants can decide individually whether they would like to attend the training on-site or virtually. Those planning extensive training measures can benefit from SAP's advantage packages such as the SAP Preferred Card.
SAP Intelligent Enterprise - Architecture Foundation (IEA10😞 Conducting an enterprise architecture project and simulation from business strategy assessment to implementation roadmap.
Introduction to Data Intelligence (DIC01😞 In addition to an introduction to the Data Intelligence Cloud, the topic is how machine learning functions can be used in it.
SAP Business Technology Platform Foundation (BTP100😞 Basic concepts of the SAP Business Technology Platform are explained and demonstrated. The offering will be expanded in the future to include the BTP150.
Agile Software Engineering - Test Automation for SAP Fiori/SAPUI5 (WDETA5): Theory and practice of recommended tools for unit, integration, and system testing, as well as ASE concepts such as test isolation, TDD, clean code, and refactoring for SAP Fiori/SAPUI5 development.
Of course there are many more SAP Training courses over the year. The best way to stay up to date is the SAP Training Newsletter where we list all new courses every month.
Users of the learning platform can now download course materials and read them offline. Recently, the ordering process via the SAP Store was also optimized: The selection of the appropriate edition and the activation process after purchase have been simplified. Payment by invoice and self-service for master data are now also easier. In addition, it is now possible to conveniently purchase additional licenses via SAP for Me.
A number of things have also been simplified in the area of SAP Certification: The entire certification offering is now simpler represented at learning.sap.com. The platform now also features Records of Achievement: Anyone who completes an SAP Learning Journey with a certification receives a digital badge.
On April 24-26, the forum will be held in english language virtually (WENFIT).
