Introduction


This blog is part of the blogs series for the new "Solution Readiness Dashboard" delivered as part of Focused Build SP12 delivery. This blog focuses on the overview page and Detail page of the Issue card.

Pre-requisite

Overview Page:


The issue card provides the information about the issues assigned to the selected project. Issue is categorized based on the priority. Data point in the header section of the card refers to total number of the open issues.

Legend of the chart indicates the status of the issue.The issues are plotted on chart using number of issues as Measure and priority as dimension. Below are few features in

Variant management and Save as Tile:


Refer the blog Refer the blog for more information on how to save variant and save as Tile.

Filters:


By default, below filter are displayed. The selected project in overview page is carried to detail page and by default Issue state filter is applied which would display only open issues assigned to the project. Closed risks can checked by applying Issue state filter as "Closed'.

Adapt filters:


Adding to above default filters, additional filter is  also available which can be efficiently used to filter the values.

Issue Details Page:


Navigation to detail page is possible by clicking on header of the overview page.The below detail is page is displayed.


Detail Page : Issues


   By clicking on the chart, the filter would be applied and records in the table would be displayed    accordingly.

Chart:


The chart plotted here is of type Stacked Column Chart.

    The First column refers to Issue ID and upon clicking the link, it will be navigated to Issue app. Where more information on the issue can be seen.

How to identify if issue belongs to Main project or Build project?


Issue ID which belongs to Main project have the Build Project column empty and those issues belongs to Build Project has Build project column filled.

View Settings:


The columns visibility can be controlled using this option.

Export to Excel:


Issue can be exported to excel sheet to analyze further. This icon will be loaded as soon as table loads with values.
