Introduction


This blog is part of the blogs series for the new Solution readiness dashboard delivered as part of Focused Build SP12 delivery. In this blog, we will get an overview of the Defect Status Card and the corresponding details for analyzing the card via Analytical List Page.

The customizing required for the card is Defect Aggregation Status and for customizing handling text display of properties – Define text display of properties is as well required.


Customizations



Defect Status Card


In this card, we can see the Defect Status that have been assigned to the selected project. There are two modes in this card:

  • Count of Defects based on Priority.

  • Count of Defects based on Priority and Status


The data point “Number of Open Defects” shown at the top of card shows the count of defect which are not confirmed. The legends describe the status values of defects.

Navigation to Defect Status Details: Header of the card has navigation enabled to the Defect Status Detail page.

Using this detail page, the user can monitor the test defects.  The values in Defect column are highlighted in the table and when S1DM type of defect is clicked, “My Defects” application opens with the respective defect. When clicked on SMIN type of defect, CRM UI will open. It provides a visual representation of the chart and table.

The filters are carried forward from the overview pages and if required, users can also apply their own filters on the below fields available in the Adapt Filter section.
