How to use SAP Continuous Influence to address your local requirements.

If you're working for an international company and find yourself navigating local requirements, you might be wondering if other companies face similar challenges.

In SAP Continuous Influence you can find a community of SAP customers sharing their needs. 

SAP Continuous Influence overview

SAP Continuous Influence is a space where you can communicate and share an Improvement Request with SAP and other SAP customers.
By using the voting tool, you can support Improvement Requests created by others that are valuable to you. The number of votes helps SAP understand yours and other SAP customers' needs.

This is an opportunity for you and other companies to influence SAP’s roadmap and development focus.

How to

For the right teams to be able to review your ideas, your submission must be according to the product. Furthermore, so your country specific requirements reach the correct team at SAP, all country-specific requirements must be posted in the right category:

• For SAP S/4HANA Cloud, Public Edition please use, Influence Opportunity Homepage - Customer Influence (sap.com)

  • Use the categories “SAP delivered standard localization“ , "Localization as self service/Localization Extensibility" or "Localization Business AI"category to post and find requests related to localization. The Standard Localization is dedicated to country/region-specific topics. Some examples of country-specific topics:

    • Requirements for purchase order printing in a specific country/region
    • Addition or introduction of tax data for a country/region
    • Local requirements for APIs
    • Addition of country/region-specific fields to CDS views

• For Ariba please use, Continuous Influence for SAP Business Network
  • On the link above,  you will find more information on relevant categories

• For SAP Business ByDesign link is, Influence Opportunity Homepage - Customer Influence (sap.com)

  • For Business ByDesign, please use the category “Globalization”.

• For SAP Document and Reporting Compliance please use, Customer Influence for SAP Document and Reporting Compliance

  • While submitting your request, please select one of the following categories:

    • Country-specific improvements
    • Cross-country improvements
    • electronic document processing
    • statutory reporting

• For Concur please use: Customer Influence for SAP Concur
  • For SAP Concur expense, you can post any country specific improvement requests by navigating to the project ‘SAP Concur Expense – Regulatory and Country-Specific Requirements’. The project has the categories that are currently supported for localization.

After you post your requirements in the right channel, other companies can vote to show their interest. Voting helps SAP to understand how relevant a topic is. Hence, voting is a crucial part of the process. On the links above, you will also find information on the minimum number of votes required for a request to be reviewed.  Once the minimum number of votes have been cast, our specialized team inside SAP Globalization Services takes care of recording and evaluating your suggestion.
