When we are discussing the topic of process modeling, it is safe to say that Business Process Modeling Notations typically do not provide the level of abstraction required to create an overview of your process landscape.

Navigation Maps is a feature that works like a blank canvas, onto which you can upload your own custom designs and present an overarching view of all your processes in an attractive way, with links, and without any restrictions on graphical look and feel.

We believe that process design and consumption should be an accessible and intuitive process for everyone and that's why we've designed Navigation Maps to be user-friendly and flexible.

If you’re still unsure about enabling Navigation Maps in your organization, here are the top 5 benefits to give you one last final push:

1. Promote better understanding

Offering a user-friendly entrance into the SAP Signavio Collaboration Hub that sets apart from the traditional structured (formal semantics-oriented) approach of business process modelling enables faster and better understanding throughout your whole organization.

2. Visualize journeys in a unique way

Designing your own customer and user journeys ensures they represent your process landscape in a unique and insightful story.

3. Ensure brand compliance

Bring your process landscape to life by creating unique user flows that are always aligned to your brand and organizational needs.

4. Accelerate content discovery

Help business users quickly and easily find process content relevant to them and their work by enabling a straightforward entrance into the SAP Signavio Collaboration Hub.

5. Increase usage buy in

Enable all users, from analysts to process owners, to understand and quickly use all processes in your company by offering a user-friendly experience.

In short, Navigation Maps can add value by allowing you to visualize the user journey in a personalized and unique way, increasing buy-in, engagement and promoting a better understanding of your process landscape and process performance for your entire organization.
