Adani Green Energy Ltd., or AGEL, has raised around $180 million through a five-year non-recourse green loan from Societe Generale and Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, two sources close to the situation said.

The loan refinances a portion of AGEL’s hybrid construction facility, and was triggered by a change of control clause on the latter, which came into play due to transfer of 300MW in projects from AGEL to its newly established joint venture with TotalEnergies Singapore Pte....
