Promoters of the Chatterjee Group, or TCG, are in preliminary discussions with banks and private credit funds to raise the equivalent of around $500 million to $800 million through an issue of non-convertible debentures, or NCDs, to fund their equity contribution for an upcoming greenfield project, two sources aware of the situation said.
