The SAP Document and Reporting Compliance, inbound invoicing option for Brazil team has released a new feature that enables you to send NF-e ICMS extension events to SEFAZ.
You use the ICMS extension events when your ICMS suspension needs to be extended for 180 days or more.
Companies extend the ICMS suspension in case of subcontracting processes, then the NF-e issuer doesn’t have to collect ICMS within these 180 days. For further information, you can access the ICMS Extension Nota Técnica 2015 001 from SEFAZ.
You can use the following events to request the ICMS suspension:
111500 Evento Pedido Prorrogação 1º prazo: used to request the deadline extension at SEFAZ for the first time.
111501 Evento Pedido Prorrogação 2º prazo: used to request the deadline extension for the second time.
111502 Evento Cancelamento Pedido Prorrogação 1º prazo: used to request the cancellation of the deadline extension.
111503 Evento Cancelamento Pedido Prorrogação 2º prazo: used to request the cancellation of the second deadline extension.

Once you’ve sent events, you can display and download the events XML files in your system, check on the SAP Help Portal: Downloading and Displaying Event
