QuickBooks Online will by default enter the business’s name as the vendor name you have on file. 1099s aren’t included with a taxpayer’s federal tax return like W-2s are, and your vendors should be relying on their own accounting software to report their taxable income and deductions. If it includes an EIN instead, select business.
